WC Builders was recommended to my husband and I by our financial planner. We were a bit skeptical at first because of all the horror stories you hear about contractors.
Well, we were blown away with Nick's professionalism and his contractors. We had our bathrooms completely gutted and redone. They turned out so wonderful. Nick follows through with all the work. We were so happy that next year, we're going to have our kitchen redone. We would definitely recommend them and actually already have to friends.

I am a stage manager at Avenue Six Studios in Van Nuys and WC Builders has done numerous projects here for us and we are completely satisfied with all of their work. They helped us get the studio off of the ground when we were first starting and continue to do projects here as needed. His crew cleans up on a daily basis like it's the last day of the job which is very refreshing. We finally decided to go ahead and completely redo a guest bathroom and opted to go with Nick and WC Builders for the work. The quality of the work is great but almost more than or at least on par with that is how outstanding Nick was before, during and after the work completed. We have heard of and personally have endured some very unpleasant experiences with contractors and we were hesitant to go through that again but we had no reason to be hesitant or leery as it turned out. Nick was extremely responsive, including at night and on the weekend (even when we told him there was no rush to respond immediately). Not having to chase after the contractor was an enormous relief and we have recommended him/WC to other friends looking to have work done and we personally will be going back to him to completely redo our master bathroom in a few months.
After a kitchen flood we decided to remodel the whole kitchen. Nick and his crew at WC Builders did an amazing job. Nick went above and beyond to help me get my dream kitchen. Everything was done on time and on budget. I will be recommending him to everyone I know. Thanks again Nick Taylor
I was in the design business for over 20 years and have worked with many contractors. Nick was far and away the best contractor I've ever worked with. I've hired him to do 3 major projects for me personally.
I find him exceedingly responsible and responsive-- very attentive to detail. I have exacting standards, and Nick bent over backwards to make sure that I was happy. There was never that feeling of dread, or wondering whether it's worth bringing this or that issue up because the hassle just isn't worth it. I believe his truest satisfaction comes in having done a good job with excellence and pleasing the client. I have NO reservations in recommending him.
The smartest thing our HOA ever did was to hire Nick and WC Builders. His warm professionalism, creativity, dedication and attention to detail are, frankly, shocking in a contractor. You call Nick when you want to make sure that something is not only done, but done well. I recommend his work without reservation.

We started with the kitchen and it went smooth fast so two month later we remodeled the kitchen in room.
Good workmanship and reliable contractor
Shortly after we moved into our condo in Silver Lake in 2005 we were hit with a shock - the whole exterior needed renovating.
One hefty assessment left me feeling bitter about the whole thing - except then Nick came along and made the whole thing worth it.
He is definitely not the cheapest contractor. But there is no price that can get you the level of care, detail and simple decency he offers.
A Huffington Post article about hiring contractors (from 4/2013) notes:

That's why we're likely to use WC Builders to renovate our modest kitchen. And why the HOA has used Nick whenever we can. I don't know Nick outside of this business relationship, but I've found myself genuinely delighted to have to stay home to meet him for one repair or another. I can't imagine feeling that way about another service provider.
Just had Nick and Co. finish reworking my two 2nd floor outdoor decks. They did an excellent job, were friendly and completed everything on budget and in reasonable time. Highly recommended, great work guys!
We had a room addition done in Santa Clarita by WC Builders back in 2007. Nick and his crew were terrific in designing a specific building to our house that not only matched perfectly, but was also a north light art studio.
